**Correction (2026-07-18):** this row does not match the live `app-network-admin`
source (the real F8 Terminal Gateway binary; `app-network-admin/README.md`). Three
specific mismatches: (1) **there is no `service-udp` service** — UDP mesh broadcast is
sent directly by `app-network-admin` itself on port 8090 to three fixed peer addresses,
not routed to a separate destination service; (2) the command format is currently
**JSON strings, not binary** — the README states "the intended protocol is a 16-byte
binary packet format," meaning binary is the target, not the current reality; (3) most
significantly, the README's own "Known gaps" section admits `handle_translation`
currently shells out to a hardcoded binary path
(`/opt/pointsav/f8-gateway/system-slm`) rather than routing through `service-slm`'s
Doorman HTTP API — "the intended architecture routes through the `service-slm` Doorman
HTTP API instead. This is tracked as a pending alignment item." That directly qualifies
