## The adapter

**Correction (2026-07-28):** neither `service-pointsav-link` nor a `pointsav-protocol`
package was found anywhere in `pointsav-monorepo` — no crate directory of either name
exists, and a corpus-wide search for both strings returns nothing outside this article.
The one crate in the monorepo with a matching name, `moonshot-protocol`, is a 7-line
placeholder (`pub fn system_status() -> &'static str { "SYSTEM EVENT: moonshot-protocol
scaffold verified." }`) with no dependencies and no Diode-related logic. A corpus-wide
search for "Diode"/"DiodeStandard" in Rust source also returns nothing. **Flagged, not
resolved** — this may describe a planned adapter that hasn't been built yet, or a design
that was renamed/abandoned; needs project-totebox confirmation of whether any code
currently enforces the Diode Standard at all before this section is corrected.

The Diode is enforced by a small, hot-pluggable service, [[service-pointsav-link|`service-pointsav-link`]] (the `pointsav-protocol` package). It is the only code that translates authority commands into Subject-executable operations.

("Woodfine"), planned to become a wholly-owned Woodfine subsidiary upon incorporation. PointSav does not itself offer, sell, or solicit any security.
