PointSav Documentation

The engineering library for the PointSav platform — operating systems and services for regulated businesses that own their data, their AI, and their record-keeping outright. Where the monorepo holds the code, this wiki holds the reasoning: architecture, services, security, and the governance commitments that bind future development.

## Where to start

Fifteen articles cover how the platform looks and speaks. These five are the entry points: the philosophy behind the system, the unit everything else resolves to, what a component adds on top of that unit, the chrome this wiki itself renders in, and the type standard.

- [[design-philosophy|Design system philosophy]] — Why the design system is self-hosted and customer-owned, publishing decision research alongside DTCG token values rather than a component gallery.
- [[what-is-a-design-token|What a design token is]] — The entry-level definition: the W3C DTCG format and the primitive, semantic, and component tiers the rest of this category assumes.
- [[component-recipes-vs-raw-tokens|Component recipes vs. raw tokens]] — What the component tier adds beyond a value: markup, variants, ARIA guidance, and WCAG targets in one machine-readable recipe.
- [[wiki-component-library|Wiki component library]] — The header, off-canvas nav, sidebar, and footer that render every page on this knowledge platform, including the one you are reading.
- [[brand-typography|Brand typography and print standards]] — The self-hosted Inter, Source Serif 4, and Playfair Display stack, and an honest note that the documented print matrix has no generation pipeline yet.

## Philosophy and primitive vocabulary

The foundational decisions: why the substrate exists, what it preserved from convention, what it replaced.
