Professional Centres (PRO) are established commercial districts anchored by professional services — including office, medical, financial, and legal clusters — typically located within 5 to 15 kilometres of a metropolitan core. Distinct from retail-anchored urban fringe locations (VWH) and transit-anchored commuter parking structures (PKS), the PRO archetype is characterised by high daytime workforce density, proximity to institutional civic anchors, and co-location patterns driven by professional-services demand rather than retail catchment.
